​This conference will bring together clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and ethicists to examine how dementia detection can be expanded beyond traditional memory clinics. The meeting will focus on detection of dementia and the potential role of blood-based biomarkers in emergency settings, addressing key questions about clinical utility, diagnostic accuracy, health equity, and the potential consequences of identifying cognitive impairment during acute care encounters.
